Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish what clients want to drink and to serve them accordingly
  • Excellent customer service
  • Suggesting wine pairings

Qualifications

  • Must have related work experience as a sommelier
  • Food and Beverage Certification/Food Safety Certification is an advantage
  • College graduate or Vocational
  • For High School Graduate (must have 3 years experience in the desired position)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Responsible for maintaining wine lists and the ordering and service of wine
  • Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
