Job Description

Sales Promoter is a marketing professional responsible for demonstrating the features of a product to an audience or client. Sales Promoters show how the product works, take questions and attempt to persuade consumers or clients to buy the product.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • A sales promoter must provide all the needed information on promoted products and services
  • Assist customers in finding the suitable product they are looking for
  • Provide advice and guidance on product selection to customers
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest purchase options and invite them to upcoming events
  • Consistently seek new product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer
  • Must have in-depth knowledge about features, benefits and limitations of the product or service
  • Engage with customer and discover their wants and needs
  • Must make sure to complete the targets assigned to them
  • Sales promoters must keep records of their sales activities and report their progress to management
  • Must track sales figures, maintain customer databases, and provide feedback on customer preferences and trends.

Qualifications

  • At least a high school graduate.
  • Minimum of 6 months of sales experience with a proven ability to reach target sales.
  • Open to both male and female candidates, aged between 18-30 years.
