Job Description
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements of ductwork systems.
- Install and secure ductwork using hand tools and power tools, ensuring all fittings are sealed to prevent leaks.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials to create custom duct fittings and systems.
- Inspect and replace old or malfunctioning duct systems, including ducts, vents, and control units.
- Collaborate with other technicians to coordinate installation with electrical and plumbing systems.
- Test system performance and make adjustments to optimize airflow and temperature control.
- Maintain safety standards in compliance with company and legal regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering queries, and offering advice on maintenance and efficient use of the duct systems.
