Job Description

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Responsible for crafting and serving beverages, taking orders, providing great customer service, adhering to health and safety requirements, and checking identification. Follow recipes accurately and prepare drinks as requested by the customer/s while keeping the bar organized and adequately stocked.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, suggest drinks, take orders, prepare, and serve drinks in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Mix drinks using a range of ingredients including alcohol, club soda, bitters, and garnishes (bonus points if you can make your own bitters using a bitters recipe)
  • Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age.
  • Track customer request and recipes.
  • Monitor customer tabs and settle bills.
  • Craft special cocktails for restaurant marketing.
  • Adhere to all sanitation, food, and beverage regulations.
  • Clean all bar surfaces and ensure the cleanliness of the bar area to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.

Qualifications

  • Male or Female
  • 21-30 years old
  • High School or college Diploma/credentials in any field.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • With pleasing personality.
  • Must have experience in handling and mixing alcoholic beverages.
  • Familiarity with beer, wine, and spirits.
  • Always stay composed and professional at all times.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to keep the bar organized stocked and clean.
  • Ability to mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with the restaurant standard drink recipes.
